I had that too, a few times... I really DON'T like people who say such things. And then wearing a LotR ring is forbidden because THEY don't like it. But who are THEY?! I think you shouldn't pay too much attention to it. Maybe they're just trying to look cool and though, calling other people a freak because those people are obsessed with LotR... SO WHAT...
