Near me, in Bakewell, there is a little toy shop that specialises in jigsaws. They have all the rooms upstairs stuffed full of just about any jigsaw you could imagine, plus any wall space is taken up with completed jigsaws hung up in frames. That's the kind of little shop you'd get in The Shire.
Bakewell also has a little cafe in the attic of an old cottage that sells Austrian sausages, mustards, and cakes, complete with an alpine decoration theme. I love it! And then there are all the lovely Pudding shops, too, and the river bank and hundreds of ducks to feed.

Shame its a bit too expensive for us to live out there.
I send nice little towns with interesting shops and no big chain stores to The Shire.
