Two comments about polls:
First of all, not every member can initiate a poll. The Barrow-Wight has limited that privilege to very few members so that there is more discussion, not just polling. Even when polls are started, we ask members to explain their answers, not just click on their choice.
Secondly, the topic must be suitable. It would be boring if too many threads were "Which is your favourite hobbit/elf/dwarf/hero/villain?"-type polls.
If you have a question you consider worth a poll thread, you are free to contact any of the members who have started polls before - they can put up the initial post for you, if they feel your topic is justified.
