Very interesting how this is dove-tailing with real life. Last night I saw a news show on conjoined twins. One pair are adults still joined at the head, choosing to stay that way. They share 30% brain matter but have comletely different personalities. Pretty amazing. They can only see each other's face in a pair of mirrors aimed back to back. Lefun and Ritun are facing the same way. Makes for the kind of story I find easier to write.
