I'd say Aragorn was more like George off Rainbow. Bungle would be Gandalf in his more inept moments, and Pippin is Zippy. With Celeborn, Galadriel and Celebrimbor as Rod, Jane & Freddy.
I might suggest this as a late paper for Oxonmoot. What do you think?
