But in these areas, surely non-Christians are in the severe minority. As Daughter of Vana said (and she's completely right) at public schools Christian creationism isn't the only thing taught, and I believe some Jewish and Muslim groups have their own variety of creationism that still fits in there somewhere.
At private Christian schools it might be the only thing taught but it *is* in the context of religious studies, because religion is considered to be an integral part of all learning.
