The only thing you can do is write to HarperCollins and ask them to pass your questions to him, or go to www.tolkienestate.com and fill in the contact form. You will normally receive a reply by a Tolkien family representative, if you are lucky even by Adam Tolkien.
By the way, he lives in France, that is no secret... and Priscilla normally lives in Oxford...
