I must say I'm in love with Rohanian poetry... It's just plain amazing. It's very lyric, sad, beautiful, yet somehow strong. Just have a look at this example:
Out of doubt, out of dark to the day's rising,
I came singing in the sun, sword unsheathing,
to hope's end I rode, and to heart's breaking,
now for wrath, now for ruin, and for red nightfall!
(That was not necessarily right since I don't have the book with me right now.)
I also love the Where now the horse and the rider? -poem.
