I was just taken with those India paper copies of HoME that I thought would go nicely with me matching copy of Rings, and then having a coronary at the prices. Did you see the outrageously priced Canadian box set? Battered more than a Harry Ramsden fish supper and retailing at £30!
I did however find some loose cheap retro Unwin paperbacks to make up some partial sets I've got around the house.
Did you get that... was it Wainwright?....one about Pagan and Anglo-saxon influences? There's a new Ronald Hutton out now (recently anyway) wth a chapter about Tolkien and Lewis that I have to buy too, specially after that ace lecture he did at Aston.
