Yes, this is one of the chapters that is so densely filled with information that it seems like an outline, or notes to be fleshed out fully later. And if I remember correctly one travels back and forth, east and west, and north and south quite a bit while one reads.

Aiwendil, am I right in thinking then that Tolkien did get so far as to organize the the chapters in the Sil.? I hadn't realized, and wongly assuming it to be CT's work.
