You know what makes me doubt the "
Lal's the cobbler" theory? She still makes points (however contradictory they may be). Usually, if a cobbler has been identified correctly by a large number of people to the point that the cobbler's no longer listened to, the cobbler gives up on making points and turns to mere bothering instead.
