well, not ALL men-numenor b4 sauron, the rohirrim, gondor b4 it became decadent, and of course, Rangers-rangers are cool. just that elves had more wisdom and are more "exotic" than most-we all only see humans every day of our lives, so elves and hobbits and all seem more interesting.
