What are Hobbits anyway?
I know what the books say Hobbits are. I had a very clear picture a few weeks ago. Then during a project for school, I stumbled upon an article from the 50's when the first book came out. It gave a brief summary of the story.
One thing puzzled me though...it said Hobbits were shorter versions of Elves. I always thought they were short versions of Men with pointy-{ish} ears. Can someone clarify please?
