I can remember myself as that child with the flashlight, reading my centeniary edition of the book in bed. He's somewhere at the beginning of TTT, possibly around "The Uruk-Hai" or "The Departure of Boromir", such thrilling chapters, those. Perhaps I'll read it for the 8th time tonight...
