I had to write when isaw this lead. I love Boromir! I liked his chacter better in the books, he was portrayed much kinder and more noble. He would never have handled the Shards that way as he did in the movie. Sean did a great job showing how torn Boromir was between the task od destroying the ring and wanting to save his people so badly that he would consider using it. I beleive as a man he new less of the magic power of the ring and found it hard to understan that his and his fathers power and good could not control it. This made him an easier target for the rings manipulation. Alos his dad wasn't so bad just old and desperate and I think this lead to him just losing it in the end. No hope left. He only knew power and war,
