The King of the Dead is Gorgoroth perhaps most talked about signing. While no-one has doubted the striker's ability to put the fear into the opposing defence there has been question-marks regarding his ability to actually make physical contact with the ball, given his uncertain connection with the material world. With last night's well taken brace of goals these uncertainties can be wiped out. It was plain to see that the ghostly hit-man made good contact with the ball all night.

The match against Dale finished 2-2, but although it was nominally called a friendly, there was little friendliness on the pitch. Both teams saw a man sent off after some extraordinarily violent tackles, and Shagrat was lucky not to see red too after producing a scimitar in the closing minutes of the game and threatening to give Thranduil "a shave". The ref only gave the hot-headed Orc a yellow card though, perhaps in fear of getting on the end of the same treatment.

Arda Cup is officially launching an investigation regarding the disciplinary actions of both teams. The result of the inventigation should be presented ahead of the main tournament
