The AKM editor happened to bumb into Nogrod in the pub Hadanka and managed to make a few questions to the team Barrow-Downs captain and score-leader.

The AKM: How are you looking forwards to the last match against Gorgoroth?

Nogrod: Well, we should win, but winning is not enough tomorrow. We should win it big time. It will be a question of life and death... well almost.

The AKM: How so? You will be qualifying anyway?

Nogrod: Yeah, but winning this group will mean facing first Gondor, then teams like Vinyamar, Havens or Dol Guldur and getting a really tough team against us only in the semis... But being the runner up we'd face first Gondolin, then Tirion and if we made it, in the semis it would be Utumno or Valimar... You see the difference in the program?

The AKM: Well, now that you say so. Um... How about if you beat Gorgoroth less than Barad-Dûr does with Breeland?

Nogrod: We'll just kick *ss with the biggies then. But it will be so much harder that way... the margins at the top are slim so one never knows... but really, there is the hard road and the easy road.

The AKM: How do you think you have performed thus far in the tournament?

Nogrod: Hmm... Barad-Dûr is a tough team with Sauron, Gil-Galad, Elendil, Isildur and the lot. Still I'm not quite happy with our game against them. If you let the opponent to claim the lead two times in a game it's just running for the equaliser. I think we got the hold of a more relaxed offencive game with Bree and we need to keep up that spirit against Gorgoroth, even if the homeside fans will make it an inferno to play in. We just need to win at least one goal better than Dûr does.

The AKM: Are you happy with your own performance?

Nogrod: It has been okay... but not more than okay. Two goals and an assist in two games is quite nice but we still need to get our teamplay into form. The phantom and wilwa do good but we need to get especially Sally and Nerwen into the game as well.

The AKM: Your prediction on the outcomes of the next matches?

Nogrod: Sorry, I have a beer to drink...
