important. Speaking of that, there are no UNIMPORTANT roles (*hear that, PJ?*). And the people at Elrond's council - let's not forget Erestor and that other elf whats-his-name... oh god, my memory is starting to get as bad as Barliman's! Anyway, HURRAY for all those almost forgotten but not quite!
