The Orc from the movies? If it's the one from the movies(Still haven't read the book yet..), then I didn't think he was forgotten. I usually look at him as that orc that everyone knows and.. Hates.. :|
Well, here goes..
GO GOTHMOG, ORC LIEUTENANT OF MORGUL!
I didn't like him either when I first saw him. But i eventually got used to him and, by some strange, unusual twist of fate, he became one of my favorite characters from the films. Sure, he looks to boot, but he's a pretty cool character! Side Stepping that boulder. Admit it, it was cool when he did that..
When I first watched the movie at the theaters, I looked at him as being one of those things that keep bugging you.. But after watching the movie omptean gazillion times(the extended edition atleast), it started looking more like he was a somewhat important character. It's a shame not many people really like him.
Although I am sure there are some that think he's cool, but won't admit it..
Also, Lurtz, though he isn't as bad as Gothmog when it comes to rememberence.. Even though his crime for killing Boromir is remembered and is loathed for it. Still, he's a pretty cool character as well(Ain't too shabby looking for an Uruk either!).
