yes, lindil did in the beginning, well he said i forgot bombadil but he remembered him in his post. Gandalf 'held' the ring for a few seconds to! i don't think ne1s mentioned him. Hmm... i'd say probably Bilbo but if you mean who used it best then i'd say sam. Frodo made a bunch of mistakes with it e.g. 'oh look heres a bunch of black riders! i'd better put the ring on so they
don't see me!' sam was much more practical, and bilbo used it well, escaping from orcs. But Bilbo also used it with an sense of humour. <img src=wink.gif ALT="
