I suppose with PJ you have to take the bad with the good.
The pluses are scenary, music, and generally casting (Gandalf
the Grey will be fine). Minuses include his absurd tamperings
with the plot and creating new characters.

I'm pretty sure he won't mess up the two key, and fun,
confrontations: Bilbo-Gollum and Bilbo-Smaug. At least
I'm kind of sure, well, somewhat so.
