I have a gen-you-wine Gandalf staff carved about 12 years ago at the local Renaissance Festival. But I don't think big hunks of wood are necessarily kid safe. And, like Al, I have some of the requisite Burger King Gandalf glasses and a few figurines still in the plastic. I gave them to my daughter, who yawned.
