Or Atalante? Then the N is in the right place.
And talent = gift.
"A" isn't a compass point, though.
Andor means land of the gift, and is a kenning for Numenor. I think Andune is also a name for Numenor. But I think Atalante refers specifically to Numenor once it is drowned (and hence under water).
