Here are a few lines from the movie that moved in some way, be it to tears or laughs...

It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were.
And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy. How could the world go back to
the way it was when so much bad had happened...But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come.
And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why.
But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn’t.
Because they were holding on to something.

I cried when Sam said that...I just cried right there in the cinema...
Especially when he says

"Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why."

I don't know why but that line always moves me to tears. Every time. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Another scene that made me cry (Gosh, I cry a lot) was this:

It’s me. It’s your Sam...Don’t you know your Sam?

I wonder if people will ever say, ‘let’s hear about Frodo and the Ring.’ And they’ll say ‘yes, that’s
one of my favorite stories. Frodo was really courageous, wasn’t he, dad.’ ‘yes, my boy, the most famousest of hobbits.
And that’s saying alot!

You left out one of the cheif characters. Samwise, the Brave. I want to hear more about Sam.

Frodo wouldn’t have got far without Sam

I just love most of the lines between Sam and Frodo. Their friendship is so beautiful, its extremely moving.

Also, Boromir's death scene in FotR was quite emotional. Sean Bean played Boromir wonderfully. Boromir is a complex character and I think Sean was perfect for the role.

But now some lines that made me laugh.

Hmmm....doesn't make sense to me...but then, you are very small...

Made me giggle. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

And when Gimli belched at Edoras in the middle of a serious discussion. Just seemed highly amusing to me.
