Quite possibly. Definitely in the realm of mysteries of the North Kingdom.

Ever since my first read, I had been curious about this fair lady. It started my intrigue with Arnor and the three divisions Arthedain, Rhudaur, and Cardolan. I read what Michael Martinez wrote about the area, and quite enjoyed the whole fanfiction tales that were presented on a forum called '
The Northern Kingdom' of which 'Valandil' goes neck-deep in creating a
tale around Cardolan.
Much can be speculated about the rulers of Cardolan, and when the last remnant perished (the plague I believe) but surely the few remaining Cardolanion-Dunedain (and Rhudaurian-Dunedain before them) likely were absorbed into the populace of Arthedain over the next 565 years before the fall of Arthedain.
