I've glanced at the Cloudflare website and it looks like the free plan would at least potentially be suitable for the Downs - it's described as "personal sites, hobby projects" as opposed to "growing apps and businesses", and I think we fall more on the hobby than business end of the scale. So if there's someone still around with the right accesses to do it... it might work?

I know the Hall of Fire forum implemented Cloudflare and but for a brief verification when opening the site, it has been working quite well. It cut down on the number of 'guests' as well.
Oh yeah, it took me five refreshes to get this thread to load, and one each of my other clicks.
