Sorry I lost the thread. Tulkas and Fingon were the ones I was thinking of. I didn't know Fingolfin or Gil-galad was called "the Valiant" (as Tulkas and Fingon were; see the Silm appendix), but I'll take Sam's word for it. Ask us one, Sam.
