Hey, I asked how Zyrgikiz contributed to the Fall of Gondolin, not the destruction of the Ring! (and it was hardly a double post since I made my post a full hour and a half before the other [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] ).

Enough griping [img]smilies/tongue.gif[/img] So, the Ring was destroyed in the grinding ice of the Helcaraxë. I thought everyone knew that [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] .

How would the story have ended differently if Treebeard stomped on Merry and Pippin, mistaking them for little Orcs?
