Sorry I missed that one and its source alltogether. In view of this I agree to leave the element out.
But in my view that means that the passage of
Laws and customs was entierly rejected. I don't think that Tar-Elenion is right.
Laws and customs said that the parents of eitherside that were
not related must be 'far sundered in kin' not the one related. It is right that Arwen and Aragorn were first-cousins but they were severaltimes removed. And I don't think that was meant here. In addition their parents on the not related side were not akin at all.
But here is still some need for thought: When we reject that passage in
Laws and customs we will deny the possibilty of Celeborn being Teleporno a grandson of Olwe. But that problem does not belong here.
