I was about to ask that myself... I think it depends on the Mayor. Hello? Mr Mayor? Will the village be told the
reason for a missed kill? Otherwise we could end up lynching an innocent.
However, I think it might be worth following
Pitchwife's suggestion (of Guarding someone in the not-quite-suspicious-enough-to-lynch class), but only if nobody else looks shiningly innocent enough to be an obvious target.
