Several! in TA 1856 the Wainriders killed Narmacil II. In TA 1899 King Calimehtar defeated the Wainriders on Dagolad. In TA 1944 King Ondoher was along with his son killed in battle with Wainriders, these were later defeated by Eärnil in The Battle of the Camp. Eärnil later regained the Kingship of Gondor in TA 1945 and became Eärnil II.
