Granted. Unfortunately, Bilbo's 'better' riddles were also more challenging, thus making Gollum take long and using more brain power than he would if he was answering simpler riddles. Because of this Gollum decides to eat Bilbo. Gollum threw the bones and clothes away, making it easier for the goblins to find Bilbo's remains. They find the Ring and give it to Sauron. And there went Middle-earth. Good job,
