It's not like Fëanor and the Noldor were the first to have weapons in Valinor. The Vala Oromë and his Maiar hunting parties were already outfitted with a full complement of weapons, no doubt crafted by Aulë.
The Book of Lost Tales refers to Oromë's halls in Valimar as crammed full of weapons, hides and hunting trophies.
