After several minutes of staring, Phantom finally forced his eyes away from Fea to see who else had arrived. "Lots of late people," said Fea.
"Um... yeah..." said Phantom, unable to think of a cooler response to such a comment. But then inspiration struck, and he turned back to Fea and locked eyes. "Why is it you are trying to make a living as an artist again?" he asked with a perfect mix of curiosity and disbelief in his voice. "You realize people would pay you to dress up in different outfits and stand in front of a camera."
Phantom continued, finding that it was easier than usual to make such comments- likely because he actually meant it this time. "Not that your work isn't great. It's just... it doesn't seem fair that you'd only allow folks in New York to appreciate such a sight, particularly when you're losing money for it."
