The first one is Aragorn speaking to Legolas and Gimli and he says "Not idly do the leaves of Lorien fall"
The second is Treebeard to Merry and Pippin and he says "But now something is about to happen that has not happened for an age"
(you had it in a ____ _____ ... perhaps you were slightly mistaken with the last part of the second quote?)
