Yeah to both! Especially the ambiguity of
Orc
. On a slightly more serious note, I could imagine a Blakeish Silmarillion, mapping the Zoas onto the Valar or vice versa - Aulë would obviously be Urthona/Los, while Luvah/Orc would have to be something like Tulkas and Melkor rolled into one; and then it gets complicated.
But what about this for starters?
