You all will probably think that I'm crazy for saying this, but I like to think of the balrog looks like the devil from one or two episodes of the cartoon Reboot, only bigger. With great wings of Fire and Darkness. After all, Gandalf did call it "flame of Udun". Udun being Hell, maybe even Angband, not the region of Mordor, I should think.

What's a burrahobbit got to do with my pocket, anyways?</p>
