Of course, I also think of the Battle of the Pelennor when I listen to Sonne by Rammstein...but then I'm a dork.
Ooh, that's my favorite of their songs... that could actually work. Hmmm.

'Behind Blue Eyes' - Limp Bizkit.

Is that not the perfect Gollum song?
Yes, but let's not forget that the Who did it first (and better in my opinion, but whatever. It actually is a good cover). And it's a darn good Grima song too. I sometimes use a Grima icon with that written on it for my online journal.

Anything Enya. Especially "Pilgrim,"
That certainly could apply to Gandalf, being the Grey Pilgrim and all, and I also think it applies to Frodo and Aragorn, since they're all on a journey of sorts. Also, the song "Book of Days" makes me think of LotR. One reason is because it remainds me of "The Tale of Years" in Appendix B. Another, more prevalent reason, is something my dad told me when I was a kid. He loves to take music apart and talk about it, and one day he commented that "Book of Days" makes him think of galloping horses. So now, I always have that image in my mind when I hear the song, and it then makes me think of the Rohirrim or Shadowfax.

EDIT: Cross-posted with Ka, hence we make the same point about "Pilgrim"!
