We could devise a whole new word to the elves of Santa. When I look from my dictionary it gives a word
brownie for "tonttu" aka an elf of Santa. Another word is
hobgoblin. So why couldn't you guys use these words? Oh well, maybe people haven't used to these words...it's a tradition to speak of Santa's elves.
