Eruwen has just left Hobbiton.
Tolkien

Everyone sat down and waited in the darkness for silence from the beast. It took quite a while for Shelob to fall asleep, but eventually she did. Hreeza whispered to the group again after noticing the sleeping menace.

"It's time."

Nothing else needed to be said by the sprite. They all knew what was meant by the commment. It was time to fight...to conquer. As they creeped into their foe's dark lair, Eruwen saw her. Sitting in a corner she was---sleeping peacefully in the shadows. At first Eruwen crept towards the back of the group, but courage regained inside her as she saw Hreeza hovering close to the foul creature.

She silently walked up towards the spider with some caution, but with vengence in her heart. As Eruwen stood close, she gazed over Shelob's somewhat towering body. This was no normal Orc from Mordor. This was far more terrible. She pulled back her bow ready to strike as did the others with their weapons.

Eruwen crept up more towards the head of the spider to get more of a direct shot. All fear had suddenly faded from her mind. There was only hate and a will to kill. As she beant over the creature to shoot, a voice from behind caught her attention.

"She's awake!" said a member of the group to another. "Get back, she'll attack!"

Eruwen did not notice from whom the voice was coming, for she had turned back towards her foe staring straight into the deep, red eyes of the spawn of Ungoliant. Eruwen pulled out her sword to strike, but it was too late. The creature had already overpowered her. Her company watched as she fell beneath the evil Shelob at Cirith Ungol.

A few screams were heard, but there was nothing they could do to save Eruwen...but to fight. As some of them lured the monster away into another part of the lair, Soronūmė approached the fallen Elf. No life was coming forth. Not long had it been since he had known her, but it seemed long enough to miss a friend. He stood in anger and ran off towards the remaining few of the group to accompany the others in defeating the evil creature called Shelob.
