Then is #2 ADAMANT? (Eärendil's helmet. As for the other part- wasn't there somebody in the Eighties called Adam Ant?)

#5 must be NIMBRETHIL ("nimbler hit"), and I believe #7 is ILMARIN ("ill mariner" - "er").

And finally I guess #6 is DRAGON-HORN.
