Hello, I'm Alatįriėl and I am a Tolkien addict. I had my first hit of Tolkien in 1966, and it's been a downhill road ever since. I used to think I was alone in my addiction and had no one to party with. Then Mr. Jackson made 3 films and, lo and behold, I discovered thousands of fellow addicts on-line. The Downs and other LotR forums have been like a life-line to me, as I have very few LotR friends/family who understand the needs of a Tolkien addict, and could care less whether Balrogs have wings or not.
