Indeed it is the Gladden which rises in the Misty Mountains and ends in the Gladden Fields where it joins the Anduin. The letter clues are thus obvious. The last bit is in the code of English crosswords tells you to think of a flower which is also a river (bloomer= something that blooms ie a flower, flower something that flows, ie a river!
