It's easy to reconcile those sentences.
Sentence two is an observation based upon two dimensional pictures that I have seen.
Sentence one states that I cannot see other members from head to toe in three dimensions like people in RL.
Those two things don't conflict. You cannot, with complete accuracy, picture someone in 3D when you have only seen them in 2D- and you certainly can't picture them head to toe when you have only seen a shot of their head. Duh. Also, it is perfectly possible to assess a general level of hotness from a two dimensional picture, wouldn't you agree?
