I thought they were pretty funny, but they did get old after a bit. I had never really thought of Tolkien's character's as gay...maybe I'm just niave. If people have a problem saying that much about gay characters in Lord of the Rings, I'd hate to hear what they'd say about some other books if they were made into movies. I needed a good laugh though, so thanks.
