Hm, I'm jumping in a little late, but I'm in Indiana (north western corner to be precise) year-round, and I think this little plan sounds delightful-- especially if a visit to diamond's sacred relics can be worked in [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] As for dates in August preferably in the first two/three weeks and for locations:
1) Milwaukee yes
2) Chicago yes
3) St Louis yes
4) Nashville no
5) Kansas City no
6) Oklahoma City no
7) Indianapolis yes
8) Omaha no
9) Austin definately not
10) Dallas definately not
