I suppose you've heard of the Dr. No danger wheel theory. My friends and I were drunk one night and we decided that the plant had a system that controlled the local level of danger, hence that massive wheel with 'DANGER' written above it. All Bond did was to turn the danger wheel all the way up to 'localised cataclysm' and his work was done. We have to use that idea somewhere.
