To all who have not yet read the Silm- it is very well worth it. A wealth of information not to be missed! I know the Ainulindale is a bit hard for some people to get through, but persevere! You shall be well rewarded with a deeper well of knowledge and a better understanding of the history of M-E and the elves in particular.
