Yes, the two names refer to the same person; one was given by his mother, the other by his father. But
no, because in fleeing from his father's house, Maeglin explicitly rejected Lomion as an identity. But then again,
yes, because he remained very much his Father's son in temperament... but still,
no, because Lomion was never a name Maeglin accepted; he was his mother's son, and 'Lomion' just an act to appease Eol.
