Nahai watched with interest as the people in the Green Dragon talked among themselves. A blond man was happily telling his life story with great enthusiasm to the innkeeper Piosenniel. The three dwarves and the hobbit were conversing in one corner of the room, and a group of elves in another.

A woman sat beside her for a moment, and was then accompanied by another woman, followed shortly by a hobbit. She listened to them speak, but not wanting to intrude on their conversation, remained silent.
